I went into Starbucks last week and everybody in line seemed to be getting the Peppermint Mocha. Let's see what the buzz is all about! Let's get this review started shall we?

Where to purchase this drink: Starbucks Locations

First Impression: I tasted a darker chocolate flavor first then tasted the peppermint after. I am not a real dark chocolate fan but the peppermint really helps it flow. I liked all the whipped cream on top!

The Peppermint Mocha is Starbucks most popular Holiday drink and has been for years!

Size:
Starbucks has varieties of sizes for their drinks.

-Short 8oz
-Tall: 12oz
-Grande: 16oz
-Venti: 20oz

-I get a tall size in all of my drinks now! It helps with calorie control.

Price: $3.00-$6.00

Taste: Starbucks combines espresso, milk, mocha sauce and peppermint flavored syrup with whipped cream and curls of dark chocolate! YUMMY!

DID YOU KNOW?
Peppermint is a hybrid- a cross between spearmint and watermint!

Calories: If you are watching your calories, then order a skinny peppermint mocha. It's only 130 calories!  If you are not concerned with calories then a regular tall Peppermint Mocha is 490 calories.

Skinny Peppermint Mocha: Espresso, steamed nonfat milk, sugar-free mocha sauce and sugar free peppermint syrup.

Do I recommend this to a friend? Yes! It's a wonderful Holiday Drink!

The Paleo Diet!

Hiya!

About one year ago I decided that I was going to try the Paleo diet!  The Paelo diet is a modern nutritional plan based on the presumed ancient diet of wild plants and animals that various hominid species habitually consumed during the Paleolithic era—a period of about 2.5 million years which ended around 10,000 years ago with the development of agriculture and grain-based diets.

I did this diet for about 2-3 months and it was a challenge! The reason I got out of it was because I went on a ski trip with my youth group and it was cereal, sandwiches, and spaghetti every night!  It's hard to find foods that aren't processed anymore. Many of the foods that we eat come out of a box or a bag and the ingredients that these foods are made of is nasty. I liked the pale diet because it's the mother of all clean eating diets. I used this cheat sheet that is on my Pinterest.

This is the perfect guide for the Paleo! You will eat so clean and will feel amazing! The body need rewards too! but not ice cream and donuts! If this is too much for you at first then thats no problem! Start with taking out bagged chips and boxed foods. When you are shopping, try sticking to the food that lines the store. Never shop in the isles!
